Carlow Gospel Choir is a vibrant, energetic Gospel Choir based in the parish of Askea, Carlow. Membership is open to all who have a love of Gospel Music. We take pride in our diversity. Some of our younger members are still at Primary school and some of our elder lemons are in active retirement, with a great many more in between!
We perform approximately every second Sunday 12 noon Mass at Askea Parish Church in Carlow. Come early if you want to be sure of a seat! New members are always welcome, at any stage throughout the year.

Before each Sunday performance, we rehearse from 10.15 a.m. in Askea Parish Centre and we meet on some additional Sundays for rehearsals only from 10.15 to 11.45.
The choir is always happy to receive new members. If you would like to know more call Noel on 087 2251183 or come along some Sunday morning and discover how delightful it is to be part of such a vibrant group! Given that we meet only twenty times a year, it is important that one can commit to very regular attendance at rehearsals and performances.

I would suggest that ye should make a video and post it on youtube for the benefit of those who don’t get to see ye live (for various reasons) I would suggest ‘Stand by Me’, making sure the sound is done properly and that the guitar piece be heard.
Thanks for your kind comment John! We will be breaking up for the Summer soon. We have just two Sundays to go at 12 Noon Mass in Askea Parish, Carlow. Perhaps we will record something next year, who knows!
Hi Guys, sorry I haven’t been down recently, its been mad up here in Lucan, but I have to say the robes look fantastic. Hope to be down again in the new year if I can.
